Reinii Furuya is a former news reporter/researcher for a news station in the human world.  Rei had been offer an promotion, but in the most talkative BNA ..'Beastmen News Anima' in Anima City. 

Good pay, apartment, more story making. Her former boss even rented a yacht to cross the waters to Anima city. What could go wrong? 

Clearly, a common woman who has been in the news world for too long. Having a name for herself in a rather good....bad way for most. Ms. Furuya has always gotten her way in the human world, but what will happen when her attitude towards a certain beastmen doesn't go her way.  Especially, a woman who's not entirely a fan of beastmen. Her popularity status takes a turn for the worst.

{ The idea of BNA, which correctly is considered Brand New Animal is directly credited to the director 'Yoh Yoshinari' and the company 'Studio Trigger'. Shirou, Michiru, Mayor Rose etc. are considered part of the anime and the idea of Anima City etc.}
