Arcadia was a city that rarely saw rain, where summer was eternal with only a touch of wind on the coldest days. Its citizens were friendly and wore smiles more often than frowns. And all of them loved Princess Ceci.

For she was the most beautiful and the most powerful Sorceress in all the lands.

And whether it was fighting monsters or villains, Princess Ceci could not be defeated. For she was the most powerful and she was the most righteous.

Or was she?

From his father’s old study, November found a dusty book that told of a different Arcadia; one that rarely saw sunlight and rained in the summer months, plagued with long winters both stormy and cold. And this Arcadia hailed no Princess and knew only a sullen and fearsome Queen.

Of course, this was just a conjured land of fiction, right? How could reality be any less than perfection? 

And yet, November found himself haunted by dreams and stalked by shadows. Was there a secret behind the eternally glorious Arcadia and the Sorceress Princess who watched over them all?
