After spending his entire summer vacation with a psychologist due to the murder of his parents. Akio Takahashi was sent to Japan to live with his aunt. As he got there he bought a journal to jot his experiences and keep himself centered. 

On the first day of school he met Himari Saito, an intelligent beauty who took a liking to him quickly. They soon became friends even though Akio had a feeling something was off with her. Turns out he was right because on his 16th birthday Himari's birthday gift to him was a one way trip to the fantasy realm of Maho! Problem is, his magic capacity is extremely low because he wasn't born there. 
Good thing he has his bow!
