Something isn't quite right with all the broken cellphones that people have turned in for reparation all over the country. They are stone-dead. At the same time, a row of unexplainable events starts to trigger each other in society. A manufacturing flaw in the car's microchips quickly turns the roads into car-cemeteries. The trains are affected by electrical defects, the shelves in stores are empty, the summer colds are getting worse, and the power outages become a part of everyday life.
