Sometimes, saving the world is not about beating a demon lord with a shining sword and fancy magic. When the demon lord has been killed and humanity prospered for years, what entails at the tail end of the journey ?

Uncontrolled expansion of the population, the lethargy grown from years of safety, hero that has grown complacent and many others factors. No amount of harvested wheat can feed all of the people. No magic is strong enough to sustain the population growth. The earth mother had stopped giving her blessing due to continuous usage of magic to forcefully grow crops. 

Humanity is slowly walking to their end, the familiar soil that they have used to grow their crops refused to budge, it refused to give them the grace of the earth. Forced by the circumstances, humanity once again need to embark on another expedition to save themselves from the famine.
