7 years ago, a cataclysm came to Earth, upon which caused humans to be pushed to the brink of extermination. Portals all over the world spat out countless different numbers of monsters of varying strengths.

At first, humans could defeat the monsters with guns and bombs, but it got worse and worse to the point that even nuclear missiles became useless.

Fortunately, humankind found a way to obtain powers for themselves by eating the flesh of the slain monsters. Depending on the strength of the monster that one ate the flesh of, they could obtain different rankings of powers.

With this, humankind managed to push back monsters until their race was no longer on the brink of extinction. 

Ankh Bram, a person who consumed the flesh of a weak monster was killed and sent back in time to the very beginning, but somehow his powers came with him? But wait, he can somehow obtain more powers?
