"Us miners are taught how to fight and how to defend the time when normal children suckle breasts and learn to walk. The first object a new-born miner gets is a dagger. You accidentally stabbed yourself? That's a misfortune, because inside the labyrinth only the strong survived. The weak went back to the land of the dead. But no matter how much training we received, there was always the chance some monster would inevitably kill us. That's the fate of us miners. We are born to die."

The labyrinth exists underground, spawning monsters and claiming the lives of the people. But the rulers had put it to good use. Inside the complex tunnels and caves are important ores and materials they could utilize. That’s the reason Miners exist, to harvest these materials and hand them over to nobles. Tiger is one such miner, until the day he went to hunt a pack of trolls. What faced them was something far more grotesque and dangerous, and Tiger’s life took a worser turn. He has Coalgate, but is the power of the devil enough to carry him alive through the Labyrinth Descention?
