Ember's world was engulfed in that very shadow. 
       However, life was not prewritten for anyone but what they wished to be written to be written. Ember's story begins when she rises from the ashes of her village, collecting other mistakes and stains on this world, like herself. She was alone, but soon, she would craft the perfect family.
