Kwan was about to get married to Kyle, but she found out that Kyle and her so-called best friend, Yuri had a fling behind her back. She ends things with them.

That night, without shedding any tears, she head to the bar and drank too much that she mistook James, CEO of MuTai company, as an escort. 

She woke up and thought they had done it. She left a note and her credit card to pay his "service".  James crumbles the piece of paper and decided to find her but she went off the grid.

Years later, they meet again after she came back to Japan for work but she has no idea of who he is.  

As she works she found out that a patient of hers has been drugged over the years, which causing to think that she just step into a land mine of what she's getting into.
