At first glance, the two of them have very little in common. In their free time, however, they are both pro-tier players of the ultra-popular space MMORPG, Black Sun Online.

In-game, Xiaohan is known as the "Overlord," founder of Black Sun's wealthiest banking guild. Emi is a legendary fighter pilot and infamous Pirate Queen.

And when a new Shanghai Invitationals tournament is announced with a prize pool of 15 million USD…

Their paths begin to cross.

The game in this story, Black Sun Online, draws heavy inspiration from EVE Online, World of Warships, and Destiny, among others.
