Where exactly does is the line between good and evil? After all, it’s up to the storyteller to change the events. Add a little flourish here, and a twist there, and you have a murder seem like it was instigated by the victim. A bit of tweaking here and changing some of the details and the classic hero becomes the villain. The whole thing gets thrown under the bus when you consider perspectives. Climbing to the top means crushing the dreams of others, no matter what. 

But this isn’t about that. Sometimes, it’s the smaller picture that matters. 

The mortal realm has been the middle ground, the demons under, the heavens above. Though they stay separated, there have always been the unfortunate who crossed the borders and saw the world for what it truly is.

This is a story of Baimu, an unfortunate given a second chance to tread the path of the ultimate magician. Finding himself in a world without memories, powers he never knew he had, and a mystery hidden in his own being, this is the story of survival, of death, of betrayal. This is the story of life, of hope, of power, and truth. This is the story of Yin and Yang, of how one cannot exist without the other.
