Legend has it that several hundred years before the Great Magic Expansion that a 'crazy' old Wiseman once said

"What restricts us as beings from reaching beyond the 9th Stage (100%)? Is it our Body, Mind or Soul? Incorrect. What ultimately limits us is the Shadow. We, Humans, are bound to the Shadow by cold steel chains. I believed, that escaping to freedom from these chains would be impossible. But I'd never have thought...'

This Wiseman disappeared without a trace. Many searched for him far and wide to hear his last words - to no avail. Speculations arose and fell just as quickly. With no proof, the existence of the was said to be a myth. 

It was only until 300 years after his disappearance, did his works awaken, thus proving his existence.
